We’ve been running our Twitter page for over a year now, and the journey has been amazing so far. From day one, our goal has been to create a space where fans of books and films can connect, share their ideas, and be part of something creative. The feedback we’ve gotten from our followers has been awesome, and it’s pushed us to think even bigger about how we can keep the community engaged.
Now, we’re ready to level up. Alongside Twitter, we’ve launched a brand-new Facebook fan page, and we’re planning to connect the two in ways that let our viewers not just read, but interact. Think posting, liking, commenting, and jumping into contests and writing projects where your ideas can actually become stories.
To kick things off, we’ve added something special to our social media world: Tint from tintup.com. If you’ve never heard of it before, Tint is this super sleek platform that lets you pull together all your social media feeds—Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, RSS, even Google+ and Vine (RIP but still legendary). Instead of jumping from app to app, you can see everything in one place, like a giant interactive window into what everyone’s talking about. It’s like the ultimate social hub.
Why Tint Works for Us (And You)
For us, Tint is more than just a cool design—it’s a way to keep fans connected in a single, simple space. You can scroll through posts, check out updates, and never miss a contest or video drop. Plus, if you’re someone who’s into books, movies, or fandom culture in general, this is going to be your new hangout spot.

We’re starting small, but with some big ideas. At first, we’ll be running Facebook and Twitter campaigns that tie directly into our favorite topic: book-to-film adaptations. Here’s one example—what if we asked you to share your favorite scene from a book that became a movie? Once we get those submissions, we’ll actually take your idea and spin it into a short story or write an alternative ending. Basically, we’re remixing fandom in real time.
As our audience grows, the plan is to flip the script. Instead of us writing the fan stories, you will. We’ll launch contests where users can submit their own spin-offs, and everyone can vote on their favorites. The best part? Thanks to Tint, all of this will be visible across our Twitter and Facebook feeds, so you’ll be able to keep track of contests and stories as they unfold.
And we’re not stopping there. Expect YouTube content too—everything from reviews and reactions to creative video projects surrounding book-to-film adaptations. On top of that, 2014 is our year to push for a bigger cause: illiteracy awareness. Books are powerful, and we want to make sure everyone has the chance to experience them. Social media might be fun, but it can also be meaningful, and we plan to mix both.
How Bigger Brands Use Tint
Now, you might be wondering—okay, Tint sounds cool for fan projects, but does it really work outside of that? The answer is yes. Big time.

Plenty of companies and schools have already used Tint in creative ways that mix real life with online life. For example, schools have set up digital hubs that showcase students’ photos through special hashtags. Picture walking through a busy hallway and seeing your photo pop up on a big screen because you posted with the right tag. It’s interactive, it’s modern, and it makes social media feel more connected to everyday life.
Another example? The launch party for NBA2k14. They needed a way to make their social media campaign visible at the event, so they used Tint to pull everything into a live display. Suddenly, fans were part of the show. That’s the kind of energy we want to bring here—taking what’s usually locked into a phone screen and blowing it up into something real, something you can share with your friends both online and IRL.
Why We Chose Tint
At the end of the day, we picked Tint because it lined up perfectly with what we believe in. Their design is seamless, their client base proves it works, and most importantly, their projects match our motto: “to support real life entertainment using the internet.”

Think about it—books and movies already bring people together in real life. You talk about them with your friends, you go to the movies, you recommend your favorite series to someone. What we want to do is use the internet to make that experience even richer. With Tint, we get to take those conversations, those fan moments, and put them all in one place where they can grow.
We’re just getting started, but the future looks exciting. This is more than just another social media page—it’s a community that invites you to create, share, and connect in ways that are fun, creative, and meaningful. So check out our “tint”ed windows, jump into the conversations, and be part of the story. Who knows? Your idea might be the next fan favorite we bring to life.
